With a record 0-3, you can bounce back and try to get in the mix but if you lose four straight it goes all but downhill from there. The reality of this game is win or Sparano is out. This is a major game for both teams. Dolphins could be on the rise with 1-3 or could stumble to 0-4. Phillip Rivers could leads his team in ordinary fashion 3-1 or go .500 with a record of 2-2.
Key injuries for Miami Dolphins:
CB Vontae Davis is questionable with a hamstring injury, it has been in effect for a while.
DE Tony McDaniel is out with a hand injury.
LB Koa Misi is questionable with a neck injury.
Key matchup battles:
MIA- QB Chad Henne: Talking about Henne hasn’t been so negative this year. He has done his job for the most part. The problem is learning when to run around the pocket and finding the open targets.
MIA-RB Steve Slaton: The Dolphins snatched him this week with the injury of Daniel Thomas. In Steve Slaton’s career, he has always been know for an injury prone type of player. His success in the NFL isn’t too shabby with a total of 1,832 rushing yards.
SD-RB Mike Tolbert: the backup runningback has been on point this year. A two headed monster of Ryan Matthews and Mike Tolbert is scary combination. This season he has recorded 219 all purpose yards.
Prediction: Going to be a close on but I am heading in the direction of MIA 31- SD 27.
