That’s right, the former Buckeye will be sitting on the sideline for the Miami Dolphins. Wide receiver Brian Hartline injured his finger trying to block former Dolphin linebacker Matt Roth in Week 13 against the Cleveland Browns. Hartline had successful finger surgery on Thursday.
Hartline always reminded me of a former Miami Dolphin, Greg Camarillo. Both are hard workers and fight for the extra yardage. Hartline has been a big conrtibution to the Dolphins’ struggling offense. He finished his 2010-2011 season with 43 receptions for 617 yards and one touchdown.
What kind of impact will this have on the offense? Huge impact he was the “go to guy” for head coach Tony Sparano. There are never any positives in dealing with a season ending injury but for the Dolphins maybe Henne can start throwing the long ball to Brandon Marshall and get on the right track.
