That’s right Tyler Thigpen will be the starting quarterback for the Miami Dolphins. in Thursday’s night match-up. And what an awful team to have your first debut since 2008 against the extremely talented defense in the Chicago Bears.
This game will be fairly tight match-up with Chicago (6-3) and Miami (5-4). Who needs this win more? Dolphins hands down. The phins need to compete with the Patriots and the “lucky” Jets in the AFC East division. Tom Brady is leading the Patriots, Mark Sanchez for the Jets, and now Tyler Thigpen for the Dolphins. He has a true test in Thursday’s game but he’s got some back-up with the wildcat becoming a factor again.
Chicago are on a role right now with beating the Buffalo Bills in week 9 and the Minnesota Vikings in week 10. Will the dolphins stop there winning streak in week 11? Miami is coming off a big win against the Tennesee Titans. QB problems all over the place for both Tennesee and Miami. With Kerry Collins’ calf injury, Vince Young taking his spot. For the dolphins, both Chads went down, they pointed to Tyler Thigpen.
The Wildcat offense of the Miami Dolphins vs. the Chicago Bears defense: Can Ricky and Ronnie get it back on track. They will have to I don’t believe Thigpen can do it alone. The bears’ defense are not a bunch of slouches, they do work. Work like stopping the run, this year they rank 2nd in the NFL giving up 82 yards per game. Watch for Ricky Williams tonight.
Tyler Thigpen vs. Brandon Marshall: Can Tyler Thigpen get the ball to the very talented wide receiver Brandon Marshall? Chad Henne for some reason did not want to throw down the field to Marshall. Marshall was getting his panties in a bunch and just was not in sync with Henne from there. Thigpen has had decent performances in pass. Look for Marshall to have a big game.
Devin Hester vs. Special Teams of the Miami Dolphins: Devin Hester is back, ugh oh. This player is explosive and can cause problems for the opposing team in returning kicks and versatilality at the wide receiver position. He was one fast man and the dolphins have given up a good amount of yards and touchdowns to kick returners this year.
