Cincinnati’s wide receiver Terrell Owens scored a touchdown latee in the second half to give the Bengals a commanding lead of 14 to 6. With Dan Carpenter kciking two field goals before the half, the Dolphins had the lead at the half.
Second half was critical for the Dolphins and Bengals as both teams had been struggling throughout the early half of the season. In the game it seemed like Cincinnati had the advantage but in the second half it was a whole different story. The Dolphins scored 10 unanswered scores in the second with a Ricky Williams 1 yard run for a touchdown and Dan Carpenter tacking on his 5th field goal of the game.
Since this game wasn’t all about the offense, the statistics are pretty plain. Bengals’ quarterback Carson Palmer through for 150 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. Chad Henne had a tough day in throwing for 217 yards and 1 interception. Batman (Terrell Owens) flew solo as his partner Robin (Chad Ochocinco) had rough day. Owens had 65 yards in receiving and 2 touchdowns.
The Dolphins are now 4-3 with the win and Cincy struggles with a 2-5 record. Miami will play the rough and tough Baltimore Ravens in Week 9.
