Cameron who? Cameron Wake that is. Wake, the defensive end for the Miami Dolphins has been on fire this season. With a total of six sacks this season, you could say he is having the best season in his young career in the NFL.
Wake, the 28 year old from Penn State University, was an undrafted linebacker signed by the New York Giants in 2005. He only lasted two months in the NFL. Struggling with his early football career, he decide to take his services to the British Columbia Lions, a team apart of the Canadian Football League, in 2007.
In 2009, the General Manager of the Miami Dolphins Bill Parcells took a shot at the CFL star. Was it the signing worth it? He did have 5.5 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 23 total tackles. From being a dud to a stud, Cameron Wake has took a 360 degree turn for his young career. Having only two years of experience in the NFL at 28 is tough, but if he can put up numbers like 6.0 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and 16 total tackles five games into the season every year, I don’t see why the rest of his career can’t be successful.
Cameron Wake=an underrated machine
