The New England Patriots demolished the Miami Dolphins in Monday’s “big night showdown.” This game did not live up to its expectations. The score happened to be a blowout 41-14 Pats. Is this game an example of what the future holds?
The Miami Dolphins were playing great in the first half, in the second half it was a whole different story. The New England Patriots scored right from the get go. Kick returner Brandon Tate flew down the 10, 5, and touchdown(as you could hear Chris Berman saying “whoop”, he could go all the way). Dolphins’ quarterback Chad Henne led his team down the field, with a shot to close the gap. Patrick Chung comes out of nowhere and stuffs the field goal and Kyle Arrington takes it back for a touchdown. Henne just was terrible in the second half throwing three interceptions, two to linebacker Rob Ninkovich and one to cornerback Patrick Chung that turned into a touchdown. Chung had a heck of a game and was definitely the player of the game in mind.
New England Patriots’ Tom Brady did not have the greatest numbers, but looked like a stud compared to Chad Henne. Brady threw for 153 yards and a touchdown. Henne threw for 303 yards with 2 touchdowns but 3 interceptions.
Hearing all the no-names of the Patriots making important plays just pisses me off. The Patriots are back, this is how they won their super bowls and it is scary for the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins and Patriots have a bye this week for week 5.
