The Miami Dolphins are coming off a great win in Buffalo winning 15-10, Quarterback Chad Henne didn’t have the best game but had 182 passing yards. The defense of the Dolphins was the key to their victory. The Dolphins will be taking on a strong and an angry Minnesota team coming off a loss against last year’s Super Bowl Champs.
Minnesota came up short again to the defending champs in a span of 7 months. The Vikings had a heart breaking loss 14-9 against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints had a roaring crowd behind their backs on opening night of the NFL. Drew Brees had a remarkable night throwing for 237 yards but just threw only one touchdown.
Vikings will be looking to get their first win against a defiant Miami Dolphins team.
The match-up to look for is the running game for both teams. Minnesota’s running back Adrian Peterson vs. the Miami Dolphins defense. Adrian Peterson aka AP All Day, will have a tough time against an underrated defense. The new look defense with in adding Karlos Dansby, veteran Yeremiah Bell, and second year player Vonte Davis.
The Wildcat attack is always something to look foward to. Runningbacks Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams in the backfield, definately the most explosive duo in the NFL. Although these two players are really good they have to keep an eye on the Minnesota Vikings defense. To be specific talking about “cowboy up”, Jared Allen.
Prediction: Look for it to be a low scoring game, Miami 17-Minnesota 10. I can’t Brett Favre having a sufficient day in the passing game on Sunday with Sidney Rice, out for the season and Percy Harvin being a possible no-go. It will be a tough game for the running game for Miami but quarterback Chad Henne will lead his team through victory.
